Student Achievements

Congratulations to the following students:
Surfs up!
Joe (Year 9), alongside MacKillop alumni Sienna and Duke, took to the waves recently in the Red Herring Surf Pro-Am. Willow, Millie (Year 10) and Hudson (Year 8) also competed and gave every wave their all.
This event was a wonderful opportunity for the group to compete against surfers from all across Australia. We can't wait to see what future surfing success is in store for 2026

Congratulations to Finn Pilkington (Year 8) and Frankie Pilkington (Year 7), who have both been selected to represent Tasmania at the Australian Youth Surf Life Saving Championships.
Finn has also been selected to represent Tasmania in the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships in Queensland.
What an exciting achievement! We cannot wait to hear all about it.
N5 Success!
Huge congratulations to Noah Capaci, Pascal Tilyard and MacKillop alumnus, Ooli Sands.
The College Japanese department is incredibly pleased to announce the success of three of our senior Japanese students in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLTP). The JLTP is a globally recognised, standardised accreditation of Japanese language skills.
It is lovely to see your hard work and amazing Japanese skills rewarded.
We would also like to congratulate Pascal for her acceptance this year into the University of Tasmania High Achievers Program for Japanese, which will allow her to complete university-level second-year Japanese as a part of her Year 12 studies.
If you would like to share a student achievement, please email communications@mackillop.tas.edu.au so we can acknowledge and celebrate your child's success in The Bulletin.
