Silly Sock Day
The Prep students proudly took part in Silly Sock Day to celebrate neurodiversity around the world. They came to school wearing bright, mismatched, and creative socks, enjoying the chance to express themselves in a fun way. Everyone had a great time showing off their unique socks and learning about the importance of embracing differences.
Humanities
This week in Humanities the preps looked at what 'Neurodiversity' means. The students painted a brain to show that we learn in different ways and that everyone is different.
Phonics
This week in Phonics the Prep students have been revising the sounds s, a, t, p, i, and n through engaging phonics activities and repetition. They are practising blending these sounds together to read simple words like “sat” and “pin.” Students are also developing their decoding skills by sounding out each letter and building confidence in reading independently.

Premiers' Reading Challenge
The Premiers' Reading Challenge has now begun, inviting students to explore the world of stories and build a lifelong love of reading. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to discover new books, authors and ideas while developing important reading skills. We encourage families to support their child by reading regularly and logging completed books online. Enjoy sharing reading time together at home — whether it’s a picture book, chapter book or independent reading, every book truly makes a difference!
