Celebrating Student Success:

NSW Basketball Primary State Championship

Last week, on the 12th and 13th November, the Boys Senior Basketball Team had the chance to participate in the NSW Basketball Primary School State Championships at The Hills Basketball Stadium. There were teams from all around NSW participating in the event and we were proud to represent our school.

Leading up to our first game of the day, we were excited and eager to play. As we arrived, we saw that the teams at the stadium included tall, skilled and strong players. Although we were outclassed in the first two games, our hopes and dreams never faded. All of us tried our best to never give up, and it paid off as we won the third and final game of the day. Despite losing two games, we were proud because we had won at least one match. On the second day of the tournament, the stakes were much higher as we needed to win our first game to go to the semi-finals. Unfortunately, we lost our first and second games despite nearly catching up to the other teams. We finished the day with a fun game, playing against our teachers and parents. All of us were extremely proud to compete at a state level.
