Stage 2 Sustainability Incursion

To celebrate National Recycling Week, Stage 2 students attended an incursion to learn about the importance of recycling and how their everyday actions can make a big difference to the environment. Students gained knowledge about how to correctly recycle plastic, glass and paper, using the correct bins and how to minimise contamination.

Through this engaging, hands-on incursion, students had the opportunity to discover the importance of how to manage and save resources and to reduce the continual use of new materials. 

By learning how to make better recycling choices, our students are becoming responsible citizens who care for our planet and its future.
