At BBPS, supporting the wellbeing of every student is an important part of our whole-school approach. Our Student Wellbeing Support Plan provides a consistent framework for explicitly teaching and reinforcing the skills students need to thrive, including resilience, responsibility, relationships, respect, reflection and reconciliation.
Throughout the year, these skills are embedded in classroom learning, Circle Time and everyday interactions, with a strong focus on helping students understand their emotions, solve problems, show empathy, build positive relationships and take responsibility for their actions. Our aim is to equip students with the skills and confidence to navigate challenges, make responsible choices and contribute to a safe, respectful and inclusive school community.
