Band Information Night - Wednesday 19 November 6.30-8pm at RPS school hall
The RPS Band would like to invite all Roselea students currently in Years 2-5 who are interested in joining the school band in 2026 to come along to our Band Information Night. You and your child will have the opportunity to listen to each instrument in the band, try out the instruments, and to meet some of our tutors and our Band Director, Ms Jacinta.
Remembrance Day - Tuesday 11 November
The students performed beautifully on Remembrance Day. Thank you to William who came over from Carlingford High School to play the Last Post.
Term 4 band fee
Term 4 invoices have been sent out. Please pay by 20 November.
Major band events for the rest of 2025
Be sure to add this to your calendar of major band events for the rest of 2025:
- Friday evening 5 December: End of year concert at RPS
- Date to be confirmed: RPS presentation day
Volunteers needed
The RPS Band Program is run by parent volunteers, and we have a few key volunteers leaving in December this year. We would love more people to be involved with the Band Committee to keep the program running smoothly.
However, if we are unable to fill the essential positions of Secretary, Treasurer, and Convenor, the Band Program will unfortunately not be able to continue next year. These roles will need to be voted on at the next AGM at the end of November. If you’re able to help, please email us at roseleaband@gmail.com and we’ll get you some more information!
