Entering the Classroom Calmly and Safely

Over the next two weeks, our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) focus will be all about entering the classroom calmly and safely. Starting class the right way helps everyone feel ready to learn and sets a positive tone for the day.

Here’s what we’ll focus on:

• Lining up quietly and patiently outside the classroom, ready to listen.
• Waiting for the teacher’s instructions before entering the room.
• Moving into the classroom in an orderly way without pushing or rushing.
• Showing respect by being calm and prepared when class begins.
• Encouraging our friends to follow these steps to help everyone succeed.

Our goal is to have 100% compliance before entering the classroom so we can all start learning in a calm and respectful environment. Even small actions like lining up quietly and waiting patiently make a big difference!
