Spreading Joy Through Service: Year 10 Hospitality Deliver Christmas Hampers
Our Year 10 Hospitality students recently brought big smiles and even bigger Christmas joy to our friends at The Good Samaritans, delivering festive hampers thoughtfully prepared with La Foresta’s home-grown produce. Each hamper was assembled with care, creativity, and a genuine desire to brighten someone's day.
What made the morning even more special was the way our students connected so sincerely, taking the time to chat, offer warm Christmas wishes, and share moments of kindness that meant just as much as the hampers themselves. Their interactions truly captured the spirit of the season.
In our Year of Joy, it has been wonderful to see our students engage so wholeheartedly with our local community. This initiative not only allowed them to put their learning into action, but also to demonstrate compassion, gratitude, and the Franciscan heart of service.
The Christmas hamper initiative would not have been possible without the dedication of the staff who guided, supported, and encouraged our students throughout the project. The smiles on everyone’s faces said it all.
What a beautiful way to give back to the community and spread Christmas cheer.
