Prep Buddies

Our Grade 4 and Prep buddies have had another wonderful term of learning and connecting together. Each session has continued to strengthen friendships while giving students the chance to develop confidence, teamwork, and care for one another.

A highlight this term was when the Prep students visited the Grade 4 classrooms for a special afternoon of shared activities. Buddies spent time enjoying mindful colouring, reading to each other, and playing Snakes and Ladders. It was fantastic to see the Grade 4s guiding their Prep buddies with patience and enthusiasm, and the Preps engaging so positively with each activity. To finish the session, we all enjoyed our lunch together while listening to stories. 

The Buddy Program continues to be a highlight for both year levels, fostering leadership, empathy, and a strong sense of community across the school. We look forward to more special moments together in the final weeks of Term 4, including the much anticipated annual Scavenger Hunt!
