Sports shorts: all the Preston sporting highlights

This term our teams really brought their Working Deeply-game! Check out the highlights:

• Cohort 2029 Girls Table Tennis really served up a smash hit, winning divisional and spinning their way to regionals next term! 🏓

• Cohort 2030 Boys Footy charged down the field and made it all the way to regionals – talk about kicking goals! 🏉

   

• Cohort 2030 Girls Netball shot their way into regionals, proving nothing but net! 🏐

   

• Cohort 2027–2028 Girls and Boys Netball , showed they could pivot under pressure at Regional Netball, with the boys making it to the Grand Final!

   

• Cohort 2030 Boys Soccer really bent it like Kingfishers– they weathered the storm in a soggy grand final that went to penalties, clinched regionals, and then kicked on to the State Championships, finishing runners-up in Victoria! ⚽

   

• Our Under 16 Boys really went the distance at cross country and came fifth in the state!

   

• Cohort 2027–2028 Boys and Girls Basketball Teams gave it their all at divisional grand finals but were narrowly outscored on the day.

   

• Cohort 2030 Girls Soccer kept the ball rolling, finishing second at divisional after a grand final that was decided by the slimmest of margins.

   

From goals to serves and shots, our athletes have shown grit, hustle, and plenty of Kingfisher spirit. We can’t wait to see Term 4 .
