Message from the Principal

Our school values the learning and development of our staff, and the positive impacts this has on student outcomes and school improvement.
Our recent Curriculum Day saw our staff engaging with Dr Stacey Rabba who is a Lecturer and Educational and Developmental Psychologist at Monash University, an Honorary Research Fellow at La Trobe University, and a Senior Psychologist/Coordinator at Monash Health. As a scientist-practitioner, Dr Rabba is passionate about translating research into practice and utilising developmental science across the lifespan.
Staff also collaborated on the development and refinement of teaching practice and curriculum across the day.
We are proud to have a number of staff participating in programs at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership. Two of these staff have recently finished their courses and I am happy to share that Amanda Fan and Bonnie Brown have successfully completed the Create: Middle Leaderscourse at the Academy.
Through the program, these staff have built greater understanding of what successful leadership looks like, and have learned about emerging research in teaching, learning and leadership. Additionally, the program has helped our staff to build further capacity to lead school improvement, and to develop strategies that help create impact.
