Our Autumn Garden
Its a rap. Pumpkins are all harvested and the season weigh in is complete.
TOTAL HARVEST FOR THE SEASON
115.3Kg
Lots of pumpkin recipes to come.
Its been a huge effort by our students to clear out our garden beds in readiness for our new Autumn planting. Our Year 3ś enjoyed harvesting our last pumpkins.
We also welcomed 3 new chooks to our Kitchen Garden, Elsa, Anna & Rocky, all beautiful laying hens.
Our ducklings are growing more and more every week. We are inviting students in our garden classes to come up with names. Some of the contributions so far include BIlly, Waddle & Quack.
Our yummy recipes this fortnight have been using lots of produce collected from our garden, zucchinis, tomatoes, basil, parsely, eggs and rosemary.
We are also looking for parent helpers to assist in kitchen or garden. Parents from prep to 4s are happy to contact us to assist.
