St Mary's Community Easter Egg Hunt

We had a wonderful morning yesterday celebrating our St Mary's Community Easter Egg Hunt and Raffle. Children were so excited looking for as many eggs they could find around the school. We also had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny!

Easter Egg Raffle

Thank you for your support of our school Easter Egg Raffle. We have raised $567 for the school. What a fantastic effort. 

Thank you to all our families who sold tickets and donated to our prizes, also a bit thank you to the staff, parents and students who sold tickets at IGA and to Ally for preparing our gift prizes.

This year's winners were;

MultiLit Visit

Last Wednesday, we were fortunate to be visited by Jo from MultiLit and Kylie from Catholic Education Sandhurst, who observed our classroom practices during the InitaLit program. 

We recieved wonderful compliments from both Jo and Kylie about how warmly our students welcome them each time they come to our school.

These visits provide a valuable opportunity for our staff to continue learning and growing in their professional practice, particularly in refining how we implement and maximise the impact of programs such as InitiaLit in the classroom.

Invitation to Afternoon Tea – Meet & Greet

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We warmly invite you to join us each Wednesday at pick-up time for a relaxed Afternoon Tea and Meet & Greet at school.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families and staff and enjoy a friendly chat over tea and light refreshments. Whether you can stay for five minutes or a little longer, we would love to see you there.

When: Every Wednesday (from the 11th of March)

Time: At school pick-up

Change to Pick Up & Supervision - End of Day Wednesdays

To support our parent engagement initiatives for Wednesday Afternoon Teas, there will be a change in pick-up routines. For the remainder of Term 2, students will need to be picked up from the front office gates on Wednesdays from 3:20pm. Whilst you're there, enjoy a cuppa or Tim Tam. Students who catch the bus will still be supervised. 

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers to support our school with the following events:

• Cross Country/Junior Fun Day: Wednesday the 22nd of April (Working with Children Check required) Please contact the school for assistance, the WWC is free for volunteers.
