Sports Update

Secondary Divisional Cross Country

On Tuesday 19 May, our Secondary Cross Country Squad travelled to Princess Park in Shepparton to compete in the Goulburn Murray Divisional Cross Country Championships.

Our students represented Cobram Anglican Grammar School with outstanding determination and sportsmanship, producing some fantastic results across the day. We are incredibly proud to share that SIXTEEN students performed strongly enough to qualify for the upcoming Hume Regional Championships — an exceptional achievement for our school.

Summing up just how even a team effort it was, we finished 3rd overall and won the Challenge Shield by a whopping 41 points!

Mia Takes Game to New Level

Congratulations to Year 7 student and Sports Academy member Mia Hayward on being selected for the NSW Football Talented Support Program (TSP)!

After being identified by scouts while playing club and representative football, Mia has been offered a place in this elite development program, designed for some of the top regional footballers in her age group. The program provides a pathway towards potential state and national representation, with players training alongside other talented athletes under the guidance of elite coaches.

As part of the program, Mia will travel to Wagga and Albury for training sessions, before heading to Bathurst in July for games and further development opportunities.

What an outstanding achievement, Mia — we can’t wait to follow your journey!
