Senior School Update

Project Ready Receive White Card
On 19 and 20 May, all students involved in our Project Ready program, alongside a number of other Year 10 students, completed their White Card training with Mrs White.
The nationally recognised course provided students with important knowledge around workplace health and safety, helping them develop an understanding of how to identify hazards, manage risks, and work safely in construction and trade environments.
Obtaining a White Card can be an important ticket for many young people as it is a mandatory requirement for entering construction sites across Australia and can open doors to future work experience opportunities, apprenticeships, and future employment pathways.
The training aligns strongly with the goals of our Project Ready program, which focuses on equipping students with practical life skills, workplace knowledge, and real-world experiences to help prepare them for future success beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to all students involved on their excellent participation and commitment throughout the two-day course.
Senior School Assembly
At our Senior School Assembly on 19 May, we proudly recognised and celebrated our Inquisitive Learners.
Within our Vision for Learning, an Inquisitive Learner is a student who demonstrates curiosity, asks thoughtful questions, and actively seeks to explore ideas and concepts in greater depth. These students show creativity in their thinking, develop their own ideas, and look for innovative solutions to challenges and problems.
It was wonderful to acknowledge students who consistently display these qualities in their learning and interactions at school. Congratulations to all students recognised, and thank you for your ongoing commitment to learning with curiosity and purpose.
