Easter at the College

Term 1 Week 10

Last Friday, both our Primary and Secondary Schools took a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Easter and what it represents for us as followers of Christ.

Secondary School started their day with a meaningful Easter assembly, celebrating student achievements and honouring Mr Ward and Mrs Priest for their dedicated service at the College as they prepare to finish at the end of term. The assembly also featured an inspiring message from Mr Dave Shannon of Wagga Evangelical Church, who reminded us that while the eyewitnesses of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection saw to believe, God blesses us for believing without seeing.

Over in Primary School, the Year 1 students performed beautiful recorder songs and a lively dance for their Parent Assembly. Mrs Emily Shannon also shared a powerful message about the significance of Jesus' death and resurrection.

After each assembly, every student and staff member was treated to a delicious hot cross bun to celebrate!
