Swimming Update

We have had another fantastic two weeks of swimming, with lessons on June 18th and 25th with Kerrie and Riley. It's been so pleasing to see students' confidence levels increase from week to week, especially some of our newer students who haven't had the opportunity to participate in many school sessions previously. We have one final swimming lesson on July 2nd.

Here are a few action shots from the last two sessions-

Badminton Update

After a successful initial session at the Badminton Stadium in Eaglehawk, we headed back for another 45min lesson on Wednesday June 18th. The juniors continued to work on developing their hand eye coordination to hit the shuttlecock with support from Miss Coffey and Miss Hart. They loved using the shuttlecock on the string to achieve more success. The Seniors continued to have a friendly hit with their peers, working hard have 'fast feet' to meet the shuttlecock and successfully return it over the net. Table Tennis Update

On Wednesday June 25th, we were met by Gary, the President of Bendigo and District Table Tennis Association, at the at the stadium in Eaglehawk. He talked to us about the history of the game, gave us some tips and tricks to help us when we were having a hit with our peers and even had a hit with some of us. We look forward to having a final session next week!
