Student Reports and Parent Teacher Conferences

Student Reports went home today and will be available online via uEducateUs. these reports reflect students progress against the Victorian Curriculum. you may notice a change in the Mathematics as we are now reporting against the Mathematics 2.0 Curriculum which only has one strand that encompasses all three previous strands.

Please take the time to read the reports carefully over the weekend and if you have any questions please feel free to discuss them with your students classroom teacher in the parent/teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday evening.

Class Dojo

Today notes went home with links to Class Dojo. this is a communication tool/app that we will be trialing over the remainder of the year. this is aimed at providing a way for parents to message classroom teacher directly. To ensure we meet all of the Department of Education's policies and guidelines, teacher's will not receive notification after hours. During business hours teachers will do their best to check messages and respond but please remember that teachers are teaching and supervising students for the majority of the day and if there are any urgent matters contact the office or myself directly.

Tree Planting

At 12.00pm on Tuesday 1st July students and staff will be doing some tree planting in the newly landscaped area between the railway station and the school. Volunteers from the railway station community hub will be supplying a free BBQ for students, staff and volunteers. If you would like to be involved please come down to the school at 11.45am.

Last Day of Term 2

Another term has come and flown by, Friday 4th July will be the last day of Term 2. Assembly will be held at 2.15pm and students will be dismissed at 2.30pm.
