Foundation News…

Firefighters

Our Foundation students had their second exciting visit from the firefighters this week, and it was full of valuable learning and hands-on fun. We spoke about our safe meeting places at home and proudly shared what we had discussed with our families. The students also practised how to “get down low and go, go, go” in case of smoke in a fire, showing just how well they remembered this important safety message.

The highlight of the visit was exploring the fire truck—we got to see inside, hear the loud siren, and even spray the hose like real firefighters! It was a memorable and meaningful way to build awareness about fire safety. 👨‍🚒🚨

Show and Tell

This term, our Foundation students had their very first Show and Tell sessions, and what a wonderful experience it was! Each student brought in something special from home to share with the class, from favourite toys to meaningful keepsakes.

It was heartwarming to see everyone speak with growing confidence and pride as they took turns presenting in front of their peers. For many, it was their first time speaking to a group, and they showed such bravery and enthusiasm. We’re so proud of how they supported one another by asking questions and listening beautifully! 🌟👏
