From Alligators to Zebras: 3/4s Go Wild with Animal Facts!

This term, our talented Grade 3/4 students have been busy researching, writing, and editing their very own animal information reports. The results have been nothing short of wildly impressive!

Students began by choosing an animal to research. They used websites, books, and videos to gather facts and take notes like true zoologists. Over several weeks, they drafted, revised, and polished their writing in Google Docs, developing important skills in information writing, organisation, and digital publishing.

Each student’s final piece was carefully edited and included in a class collection titled “A–Z Animal Information Reports” — a fantastic class book full of fun facts and fascinating creatures, from armadillos to zebras!

We’re so proud of how much effort and enthusiasm the students showed throughout the term. Be sure to ask your child about their chosen animal, they’re now the experts!
