PENOLA CAMPUS UPDATE

We are very pleased to announce to our community that a planning permit has been issued from the Department of Transport and Planning for the proposed development at 183 to 187 Gray Street.

This is very exciting news as it now allows us to proceed to tender for Stage 1 of the project with the intention of appointing a builder and commence works well before the end of this year.

It is anticipated that this will be a 5 stage project. The timeline for each stage is dependent on the College’s borrowing capability, cash reserves and capital grant funding. Stage 1 has been approved with a $6,000,000 grant from the Victorian State Government under the Building Fund for Non-Government Schools.

This has been an extensive process and dates back well before the 16th of March 2021 when we first spoke with our Town Planning Consultant.

We would like to acknowledge the guidance and professional assistance of DOBCEL, our Architects, numerous other sub consultants and in particular, our Town Planner.
