TRANSITION DAYS REPORT
MR DAMIEN HIRST - TRANSITION COORDINATOR


Last week we had almost 150 Grade 6 students at St Mary MacKillop College for our Term 2 Transition Days. On Monday 11th we had 78 students from St Mary’s Primary School. They participated in Maths, Japanese, Science and Food Tech classes along with a school tour.
On Tuesday 12th May, we had 60 students from Swan Hill Primary, St Joseph’s Balranald, Woorinen, Lake Boga, Kerang South, St Mary’s Sea Lake, Swan Hill North, Nyah, Moulamein, Beverford and Murrabit. They participated in Maths, Japanese, Science, Food Tech and Woodwork classes along with a school tour.
On Friday 15th May we had the Grade 6 class from St Joseph’s Primary at school. They participated in Science and Food Tech classes along with a school tour. Overall, the students had a great day as part of their transition into secondary school. It will be great to see some of the parents at our Open Day and Information Night on Wednesday 27th May.
