Senior Boys AFL

It has been a big couple of weeks for our Senior Boys AFL Team winning their way through to the LMR Championships that were held this Wednesday at Moama Recreation Reserve.

Last week on Tuesday 12th May, St Mary MacKillop College won the Swan Hill District Senior Boys AFL with a big win over Kerang Technical High School and a tight finish against Swan Hill College. Better players were Tiger, Max P and Max O.

This then led them to the Loddon Mallee Championships - where with a few late outs, the boys put on a great performance taking down St Joseph's College, Echuca and Highview College, Maryborough before going down to Mildura Secondary College in their third match to finish in second place for the day! Better players were Max P and Nicholas.

Senior Boys Soccer

Our Senior Boys Soccer team ventured to Epsom Huntly Reserve in Bendigo on Monday to compete in the Loddon Mallee Championships after earning their way through during Winter Sports.

They battled hard all day but ultimately were met by some classy teams in Mildura High, Bendigo Senior Secondary and St Augustine's Kyabram and finished in 4th position.

Better players on the day were - Kit, Curtis, Thomas, Tiger and Max.

Sporting Achievements

A massive congratulations to the following students on their sporting achievements in the last couple of weeks -

• Mia - Under 14's Girls AFL SSV State Representative
• Sadie - Under 16's Girls Basketball SSV State Representative
• Olive - 5th Club Championship in a row at Murray Downs
