Responsible Pet Ownership

Our Year 1 students recently had an incursion on Responsible Pet Ownership with Jenny. This was a great opportunity for students to learn how to care for pets safely and responsibly, and to understand the importance of being kind and respectful towards animals. In class the students have been writing about their own pets, and sharing photos of their ‘furry’ family member. 

Radio Awareness Incursion

On Tuesday 26th May our Year 4 students will work with John from RAK Radio to write up their own radio segments and have the chance to perform them. They will learn all about radio awareness. The final product will be recorded with sound effects. We look forward to listening to the students performances.

Sovereign Hill Camp

Our Year 5 camp to Sovereign Hill In Ballarat is getting closer. This camp is an important part of the Year 5 unit of work on the development of the early colony including the gold rush in Victoria.

The camp will take place from Thursday 11th June to Friday 12th June. Students are reminded that the bus will leave Sacred Heart at 7:00am SHARP. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier. Notes for what to bring and all other relevant information has been sent home with students. Please reach out to teachers if you have any queries.
