Reporting Update

You may be aware that the Australian Education Union (AEU) recently included a ban on all aspects of work related to the provision of written comments on student reports as part of ongoing industrial action. 

While this ban has now been lifted, the Department of Education has recognised that the timing of this change makes it difficult for schools to provide full written comments for Semester 1 reports this year.

As a result, Semester 1 reports will continue to include student achievement against the relevant curriculum areas of the Victorian Curriculum F–10; however, full written comments will not be included. The reports will be published on compass on Monday 22nd of June.

We will, of course, be pleased to discuss your child’s progress further during our upcoming parent-teacher interviews on Wednesday 24th of June. As always, families are also welcome to contact their child’s teacher at any time to arrange a meeting if needed. Further information regarding parent-teacher interview bookings will be shared with families in the coming weeks.
