1/2C - Term 2 Learning

It has been a busy term of learning, and 1/2C have enjoyed so many wonderful experiences! We have worked hard, learnt lots of new skills, and had plenty of fun along the way. Take a look at some of the things we have been up to this term.

Biological Science - Animals

In Literacy, we have been learning about different animals, their features and the habitats in which they live. We explored how animals are suited to their environments and identified characteristics that help them survive. To showcase our learning, we researched an animal of our choice and created an informative poster highlighting its features, habitat, diet and interesting facts. We loved presenting our learning to our classmates and buddies.

Patterns

In Maths, we have been learning about patterns. We have practised identifying, continuing and creating repeating patterns using colours, shapes and numbers. We have enjoyed exploring patterns in our classroom and everyday environment through hands-on learning experiences.

Crazy Hair and Hat Day!

We had lots of fun celebrating Crazy Hair and Hat Day! It was wonderful to see the creative hairstyles and colourful hats on display. 

Melbourne Zoo 

One of our favourite moments this term was going on our excursion to Melbourne Zoo. 

We loved exploring the zoo, spotting different animals and discovering interesting facts about wildlife and their habitats. It was a fun filled day with many smiles, wonderful memories and hands-on learning experiences.
