Dear Families,

Farewell and Thank you!

With the end of term just a couple of days away, I come to this my last newsletter before my LSL and retirement.  I am not sure I am ready! My involvement at St John Vianney's  over the past nine years has been nothing short of  brilliant! I have absolutely loved being part of such a wonderfully connected and supportive community.

Partnering with you in your child's education has been my privilege. Your children have been so engaging, so kind, and have made this community and my time here so enriching.  I have worked with our incredibly talented, dedicated and caring staff who have always put the students front and centre.

We are truly grateful for you entrusting your child into our care and hope that every student and family continues to flourish. It has been magical to get to know you across the years. I have many, many wonderful lasting memories.

As Friday approaches, I am truly excited to be moving into a new chapter of my life, but  know I will always have the SJV community in my heart! What a school to finish my career!  I thank  you all and wish you every blessing.

I know you will all get behind Jenny Willmott as the Acting Principal and Emma May the Acting Deputy Principal. They will continue to foster a strong sense of community, engagement and learning, working with all staff to bring about strong educational and social outcomes for your children.  Go well SJV!

On Friday, all students will be given a celebratory Super Dooper.

If you do not wish for your child to receive a Super Dooper, please email the school office at admin prior to Friday.

Farewell To Kristina Khoo

We farewell Kristina Khoo who after 10 years is moving to St Marks in Dingley as the PE teacher. Across the years, Kristina has worked as our PE teacher and as a classroom teacher. We are indebted to Kristina for her assistance in establishing our Bike Education Course. Kristina has also been pivotal in supporting our students engagement in our Gardening Club!  We thank Kristina for all her  contributions and wish her and her family  well for her future.

Condolences

Our prayers thoughts and support are with Miss Ann-Maree (3-4 A classroom teacher) on the passing of her dear dad Angelo Favoloro on Sunday. May he Rest In Peace.
