Last week in Creative Arts, Stage 2 and 3 created self portraits! 

Infants - Religion: Advent

In Religion, the Infants students have been learning about Advent. They learned that long ago, God’s people waited for someone special to come and lead them. They didn’t know who it would be, but they trusted God’s promise. Advent reminds us of this special time of waiting and hope. They also discussed things they wait for in their own lives and how waiting helps us grow in patience.

To practise waiting, the classes are using a tangible gift wrapped in many layers. Over the coming weeks, they will have to wait for their turn to unwrap a layer and wait to see who will reach the prize in the middle.
