A friendly reminder to families with regards to Student Attendance and office procedures.

Parent Notified Absence (PNA)

A reminder to please record your child/children's absence as soon as possible via :

• ☎️Absentee Phone Line

For all unexplained absences, you will receive the parents absent SMS to advise that your child is absent and to please notify the College. Please do so immediately.

If the office has not received notification from you, a further follow up phone call must be made by the office in order to record the unexplained absence accordingly, as per the MACS College policy. To avoid  having to make a large volume of calls we ask that you follow the above process.

Please ensure you enter the PNA at your earliest convenience to avoid receiving text messages & phone call.

📢 Announcements

Announcements are only made prior to recess (11.50am) and prior to lunch (1.20pm).

Students will not be called over the PA system for an early leave during class time.

🚗 Early Leave  

If your child is leaving early, please ensure you have entered this via your PAM account in partial absence or alternatively contact the office to advise, this will allow the office to arrange the collection of your child in a timely manner in preparation for your arrival to the office.   Prior arrangements MUST be made to collect your child early.

🏥Health Centre

Reminder:  📵Students are not permitted to use phones during school time.

Students who are feeling unwell must attend the Health Centre.

Students are not permitted to text or email parents to arrange early collection.

Where a student has contacted a parent directly, the student will not be called from class, and parents will be required to wait until the next scheduled break.
