💙 Farewell to Our Dear Edgar 💙

Our Resurrection School community continues to mourn the passing of our much-loved Crossing Supervisor, Edgar.

Edgar was a very special and valued member of our school community. He loved his role at Resurrection and took great pride in greeting and caring for our children and families each day. Over the years, Edgar became a familiar and friendly face to so many members of our community, and his kindness, warmth and dedication will be greatly missed.

Edgar's family has kindly arranged for the hearse to drive past Resurrection School and the school crossing at approximately 10:10am on Wednesday 16 September, before he is taken to St Anthony's Parish for his Funeral Mass.

This will provide our school community with an opportunity to pause, remember Edgar and say a final farewell as he passes the school crossing — a place that meant so much to him.

Edgar's family has also warmly extended an invitation to members of our school community who would like to attend his Funeral Mass at St Anthony's Parish at 11:00am on Wednesday 16 September.

As a Catholic school community, we take comfort in knowing that Edgar is now in God's loving hands. We pray that God grants him eternal rest and surrounds Christine, Reggie, Michelle and all who loved him with comfort, strength and peace during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Edgar. You will always be a much-loved part of the Resurrection School family. 💙
