Thoughts from our Principal - Mrs Casey Chard
During this sacred time of Holy Week, I thank our families for the ongoing support, care and sense of community you bring to St Joseph’s. It is a privilege to work in partnership with you in nurturing the faith, learning and wellbeing of every young person at St Joseph’s.
As we prepare to celebrate Easter, we are reminded that even in moments of challenge, there is always hope through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. My hope is that, over the coming days, you are able to pause, reflect and enjoy time with family as the term draws to a close.
We have enjoyed a wonderful end to the term through events that are significant to St Joseph’s. At our Cross Country, every child present from Kindergarten through to Year 6 participated and completed the course, challenging themselves while also cheering on and supporting one another. This is an outstanding reflection of our wonderful school spirit. Furthermore, our P&F Golf Day was a tremendous success, raising almost $6,800 to support school projects and resources. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support of our community.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our skilled, helpful adults (our staff) whose dedication, care and professionalism make these opportunities possible. I also wish to thank our students, who consistently demonstrate enthusiasm, perseverance and a genuine care for one another. Working alongside our families, together, they embody the spirit of St Joseph’s.
May the hope of the Resurrection inspire and strengthen us all, as we continue to grow together in faith, learning and wellbeing within our St Joseph’s community. We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, 21 April.
May God bless you and your family.
