Principal's Report

As we begin the 2026 school year, I would like to extend a warm welcome back to all our students, parents, and carers, as well as a special welcome to the many new families joining the Epping Secondary College community.
It has been an energising start to the year, with our Year 7 cohort settling in with confidence and enthusiasm. A highlight has been the successful Year 7 Community Day and overnight camp, where students participated in engaging sessions delivered by Melbourne Victory, Melbourne Storm, and Melbourne United, along with an exciting excursion to the Whittlesea Tech School as well as disco and karaoke at the sleepover. These experiences not only helped our newest students build strong connections but also set a positive tone for their learning journey ahead.
It was also wonderful to see such strong parent and carer attendance at our VCE and VM Information Night. Your involvement and partnership are essential in supporting our senior students as they approach their most important years of schooling. As we look ahead, Term 1 promises to be a busy one with many events and excursions. Our Athletics Day in Week 9 is sure to be a highlight for students and staff.
