From the Art Studio…

During Wellbeing Week we focused on working together to create some special displays!

Year 5/6 students worked on a unique geometric abstract which now hangs proudly in the hall.

Years 1-4 discussed ‘What Peace Means To Us’ and each student designed a meaningful panel to add to our huge circular peace artwork which is displayed in the hall.

Years 1 & 3 dipped their fingertips into soft metallic paints to bring to life to our special Peace Dove (hanging in the front stairwell).

I would like to sincerely thank our wonderful St Columba’s community for the incredible funds raised at our December Carols picnic Art Auction. Our new storage units and tables have arrived and they look sensational! The kids love the ‘renovation’ and say it ‘feels like a professional art studio now!’ It sure does!
