Principal's Message

Principal Message Week 2 - Term 1
A Wonderful Start to 2026
What an amazing beginning to the 2026 school year. New beginnings bring a special sense of joy and hope, and it has been a delight to see students return refreshed from the holidays, ready for a new year of learning and growth. We are especially delighted to welcome our new families to the school community, our international students and a very warm welcome to our Prep class of 2026. The Preps have settled beautifully and across the school the calm, positive start has been wonderful to witness.
Each term begins with a strong wellbeing focus and last week teachers and students spent time getting to know one another, co-creating class expectations and building a sense of belonging. One of our new students recently told their parents that this is the “best school in the world”, a moment that truly made my heart sing.
We want every student and family to feel that they belong here in our community, that we share a vision of being internationally minded and that we are all called to action. Our 2026 theme, Walking Together Towards Peace, reflects our commitment to showing love, care, respect and understanding in our classrooms, our playground, with our friends and families and throughout the wider community.
This Friday, we will come together as a community for our Beginning of School Year Mass, where peace, hope and joy will be highlighted through our readings and prayers. All families are warmly invited as we introduce our student leaders and staff for 2026. I look forward to working with each and every one of you and I hope the events ahead continue to reflect our shared values of collaboration, teamwork, community and belonging.
Warm regards
Natalie
(Acting Principal)
