SPORT TERM 4
JERSEY UPDATE
Moving forward students who receive a jersey for any upcoming trial, gala day or interschool sport will be recorded as proof of this borrowing method. This will allow our school to continue to use these jerseys and have enough for all students to wear and represent our school proudly at the many sporting events we provide to all students. Once jerseys are washed and returned to the school office, our staff will mark that the jersey has been returned. Any jerseys not returned will incur a fee to replace this jersey.
Please check the wardrobes at home and return any jerseys of any style (singlet, soccer jersey or footy jersey) which belongs to the school. Thank you for the cooperation with this matter.
Interschool Sport
Interschool sport has been a huge hit for 2025 and will continue in a similar fashion for 2026. A big thank you to all the staff, students, volunteer refs and the sport team and SCS for providing this opportunity for our students. We have news that the chosen sports for interschool in 2026 will be league tag, netball with European handball all abilities, football (soccer) and AFL.
Representative Sport
Congratulations to our students Hudson, Sophie G, Max, Noah and Jacob F who competed at the SCS Aquathon. The event consisted of a run and a swim.
Well done to Max who finished 2nd place overall!
Lana B travelled to Canberra last week to compete at the School Sport Australia Athletics Championships. This is Lana's second year competing at this elite level. Lana competed in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m senior girls relay. Lana made the finals in both the 100m and 200m finishing 5th in Australia for the 100m and 4th in Australia for the 200m. We are all extremely proud of Lana who ran PB's in all of her races. What a fantastic achievement Lana continued to grow in this sport. Lana's relay team crossed the line in 2nd place earning themselves a podium finish.
The following students will represent our school at the Conference 3 Swimming Trials on Monday 9th February at Sutherland Leisure Centre. The Compass event will be shared with the below families at the commencement of the school year in 2026 as we must wait for the roll over of the calendar year, an administrative requirement. Congratulations to:

Upcoming Representative Trials
Thank you to those students who have trialed across various sports for next years conference trials. Trialists were gathered based on the nominations received and those students who missed the opportunity were able to display their resilience and congratulate those who were selected. Details will be shared via compass and a paper note for any student attending a conference trial.
