Road Closures / Bus Detours

We have been advised by Victoria’s Big Build Project of an upcoming major road closure of Precinct Rd at the corner of Barwon Heads Rd. The closure will be for all traffic and will take place from Friday 29/5 until October.

Several of our school bus services will be impacted by this closure:

AM:

S22 – bus will not be able to service the bus stop on Barwon Heads Rd just after Reserve Rd or the Precinct Rd stop near Barwon Heads Rd. The bus will instead commence at a temporary bus stop in Reserve Rd just prior to Bramley Ave, turn left into Bramley Ave and then right onto Precinct Rd where it will resume the usual route.

S27 – bus will not be able to service the Precinct Rd stop just after Bramley Ave. The bus will instead detour left into Bramley Ave and pick up at the temporary stop just prior to Winterfell Rd if required, then continue Bramley Ave, right into Reserve Rd, right onto Barwon Heads Rd and pick up at the stop on Barwon Heads Rd just after Precinct Rd if required, which is due to reopen Friday 29/5.

PM:

S22 – bus will not be able to service the Precinct Rd stop just after Bramley Ave. The bus will instead detour left into Bramley Ave and drop off at the temporary stop just prior to Winterfell Rd if required, then continue Bramley Ave, right into Reserve Rd, left onto Barwon Heads Rd to drop off at the final stop on Barwon Heads Rd just after Reserve Rd.

S27 – bus will not be able to service the Precinct Rd stop just after Bramley Ave. The bus will instead detour left into Bramley Ave and drop off at the temporary stop just prior to Winterfell Rd if required, then continue Bramley Ave, right into Reserve Rd, right onto Barwon Heads Rd and pick up at the stop on Barwon Heads Rd just after Precinct Rd if required, which is due to reopen Friday 29/5.

S9 – bus will not be able to service its last drop off at the Precinct Rd stop just after Bramley Ave. The bus will instead detour left into Bramley Ave and drop off at the temporary stop just prior to Winterfell Rd.
