Breakfast Club

The smell of crispy hot cheese toasties attract many students to the Breakfast Club on these cold winter mornings!
On Friday 1st August we were joined by some of our sister school students from New Caledonia. It was a delight to see our GEC students host the New Caledonian students for a GEC breakfast! Thank you to Year 12 student Angus McNeill for driving this breakfast initiative.
If your child is yet to discover the warmth and comfort at the GEC Breakfast Club on the cold mornings, please remind them we’re open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:00am to 8:30am in Food Tech room 2. ALL STUDENTS WELCOME!
What is on offer at the GEC Breakfast Club?
We offer a variety of cereals, toast, vegemite, honey and piping hot cheese toasties, baked beans, canned spaghetti, fresh apples, fruit cups and mini milks!
Lunches and snacks
Lunch items such as tuna salad, rice meal, soups, popcorn and fruit cup snacks are available in the Wellbeing Centre or Junior School Office for students to ask for when the need arises.
Fresh apples abound at GEC!
Fresh apples are supplied at the Sign-In Kiosk located at the General Office, very handy for students to grab and go if running late.
Home Food Packs available from the Breakfast club
Home Food Packs can be ordered by the GEC Breakfast Club at any time of the year to support families.
Each food hamper contains enough breakfast food, snacks and lunches and soups to help support one student for two weeks. If you would like a Home Food Pack for each child, please let us know on 9571 7838 and you can collect them from the General Office.
GEC acknowledges the generous support of Food Bank Victoria.
