Foundation - Prep
Prep are so excited to be back to school for Term 3! This term, our inquiry is looking at experiencing different materials and their changes. Prep have been role-playing as scientists in our classroom science labs! They have enjoyed singing along to, ‘Scientist, Scientist, what do you see?’ and exploring the different materials both inside and out. In our outdoor learning, we have practised throwing balls into Phonics buckets and making our own potions using natural materials. We are so excited to see what scientific observations we make during the term.
Foundation - Year 1-2
1/2D had a wonderful start to Term 3!
We have had lots of fun developing our social skills in the Play Program . 1/2D have been bringing our text 'Meg and Mog' to life in Writing. In Numeracy, we have explored the activities we do in the daytime. We have learnt lots of body patterns through dancing. In Phonics we learnt new sounds and how to blend them. 1/2D students created a NAIDOC week display including making our own Acknowledgement of Country. We have been enjoying learning different Eric Carle texts in our Library sessions. Well done 1/2D!
Lower Primary (Years 3-4)
The 3/4 teams are having a wonderful start to Term 3. Settling back into school and our routines, we all enjoyed our community walk in our neighbourhood. We all practiced being safe in the community and stretching our legs outside. Also this term we are excited for swimming, on Mondays for 3/4A and B, and on Tuesdays for 3/4C and D. We are swimming once a week until Week 6, August 17th or 18th is our last swimming session.
