Enrichment Electives Activities 

Semester 2 Enrichment Electives Begin at CHES

On Monday 3 August, we welcomed our Semester 2 Enrichment Electives cohort to CHES for their first seminar day. The Orientation Day introduced students to CHES staff, facilities and programs, while giving them the opportunity to meet their teachers, build connections with students from their own and other Enrichment Electives, and learn more about the semester ahead.

Throughout the day, students participated in interactive activities including cohort bingo, the CHES Challenge and a photo wall and map activity highlighting the different areas students had travelled from. Students also learned about CHES pathways, expectations, cyber safety and enrichment opportunities, with IT support available to help them access the platforms they will use during the semester.

Most importantly, students commenced their Enrichment Elective program by taking part in their first lessons. The day concluded with information about student leadership, further enrichment opportunities and a Q&A, providing an informative and engaging start to the semester.
