GENERAL OFFICE

Parents should always make contact with the General Office first when visiting the school or trying to make contact with their children. Appointments with teachers can be made via Compass.

PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF

Please do not drop your child off to school or pick them up at the end of the day via the Springfield Rd carpark. There are too many students walking the grounds at those times and it may endager those students. There is a sign on the front gate advising parents not to drive in between 8am and 4pm unless you are picking up a sick child.

REMINDER: Our Mullauna mobile phone - 0408 703 220 - please put it in your contacts

Our official MSC mobile number is 0408 703 220. Our phone system reverts to this mobile should the land lines fail.

It is also our primary contact number in the case of an evacuation.

We use this mobile to send (and receive) text messages etc. to Mullauna community members, so please add it to your Mullauna contact details so you recognise us should we text or call you!

ABSENCES

Student absences should be reported to the school via Compass Parent Portal on the day of the absence before 9:00am.

LATE ARRIVAL TO SCHOOL

If your child is late they must report to the Year Level Coordinator at the General Office.

Students are expected to be at school at 8:30am. A locker bell rings at 8:30am, music plays from 8.45am, and Period 1 classes begin punctually at 8:50am.

EARLY LEAVERS

If your child needs to leave school early for any reason, please notify the school via Compass Parent Portal. Teachers will not allow any student to leave their class unless there is prior notification.

LOST PROPERTY

Please ensure that all school clothes, books and personal property are clearly labelled with the student's name. This will ensure that property can be returned to the correct person when it is lost.

SCHOOL PAYMENTS

All payments can be paid via Compass Parent Portal. Payments are also accepted Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, via Debit/Credit Card (not Amex) or cash. For any other payment methods please contact Laura Steel on laura.steel2@education.vic.gov.au
