Lilydale Melba Festival & Street Fair
You are invited to join our annual FREE community event!
The fourth annual ‘Lilydale Melba Festival & Street Fair’ will be held on SUNDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2025 right in the very heart of Lilydale from 9am - 3pm!
We would LOVE to see your community join our event which is guaranteed to be a full day of fun for all ages! Our Main Stage will be hosting an array of exciting seasoned and emerging musical performers with live entertainment throughout the day beginning with our Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by the Djirri Djirri Dancers at 9am.
At 10am the streets will be alive with a vibrant Street Parade that takes its route from the Lilydale CFA complex, along the Main Street Service Road, and Clarke Street.
Furthermore, the day will showcase 100+ local market stalls of gifts, wares, produce, and more! Plus, community organisations and services, local businesses, sporting clubs, schools, and art on display! We have a designated Children’s Zone complete with all the treats, free activities all day long, even a Kids Disco! AND, we are attempting to host the Yarra Valley’s Biggest Chicken Dance at 1:15pm which cannot be missed!!!
Roaming performers will colour the streets, and the CFA Open Day is set to be their biggest one yet!
The Lilydale Outdoor Pool will be holding their season opening Pool Party from 12pm - 3pm and you will discover engaging exhibitions, activities, and our vintage car display at the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum.
