Student Refections

Community Prayer
During October, our Liturgy Leaders (Lauren and Alessandra) lead our school community in praying a decade of the Rosary each week.
Below are some reflections from our students -
| Xavier | I felt like the rosary was a really great way to talk to God, Mary and Jesus through prayer, no matter where we were. It really helped us reflect on all that they have done for us to give us this wonderful life. |
| Georgia | The rosary experience helped us reflect more on the sacrifices Jesus made for us, connects us with Jesus and brings us closer to God. I also thought about the sacrifices Mary made, and how blessed she would’ve felt to have given birth to Jesus. |
| Aiden | I did not know how to do the rosary till now, and it was nice and reverent. |
| Winston | I felt good when I did the rosary and it was a mindful activity to do, it’s a great way to speak to God. |
| Lauren | As I was leading the rosary with Alessandra, I felt very connected with the school. |
| Lucas | I thought about Mary and I found it a time to think about what she has done. |
| Hugo | It was fun to be good and to experience the rosary with other people. |
| Nyagao | We are all pros at staying mindful and reverent during the rosary. |
| Patrick | I felt calm when I did the 10 Hail Mary’s and Our Father |
| Addi | When I was doing the Rosary I felt calm during it and we did it in the afternoon on a Wednesday |
| Renee | Experiencing the rosary was really cool because I only did the rosary once when I was in year 4 and doing it again was nice! |
| Sheryl | I liked doing the rosary with the whole school and everyone was really respectful. |
| Mikael Looi | I enjoyed spending Wednesday afternoons praying the Rosary to calm down while learning about the prayer. |
| Micah | This was my first time doing the rosary and doing it as a school was a nice experience and it was interesting to see what order to do the rosary in. |
| Dhinara | When I was doing the rosary I felt more connected to God and Jesus, and I also enjoyed saying Hail Mary 10 times. |
| Alannah | On Wednesday the whole school came together and prayed the Rosary. When I was doing it I felt connected to God and Jesus. |
