World of Education Jubilee Prayer

Education offers hope and opportunity.

Those who serve in this vocation shape minds and hearts, strengthen character, and empower children and young people to realise their full potential.

Today, we give thanks for the role they play in our communities, and we lift up our prayers for their continued wisdom, patience, and fortitude.

We pray for all of our education communities.

Amen.

Remembrance Day

On Tuesday, our school community will pause to mark Remembrance Day. Together, we will reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country in times of war and peace.

Our students will gather to show great respect during our prayer and moment of silence, remembering the men and women who gave their lives so that we might live in freedom. We will pray for peace in our world today and for the strength to be peacemakers in our own lives.

Everyone is welcome to join us for this special service of remembrance and reflection on Tuesday, 11th November at 10:45 am.

Don't forget to purchase your Remembrance Day badges from our School Leaders.

School Review Process

Lorraine Kennedy (National Curriculum Services) has been with our school for the last two weeks. During this time, she has met with many stakeholders (teachers, leaders, administration, learning support, parents and students) in our community to gather information that will inform our School Improvement Plan for the next four years.

Lorraine will return to share her final report with our Staff Leadership Team and MACS Senior Manager (Debbie Darvell) on Friday, 28th November.

World Teacher's Day

Hope shines brightly in our school through the work of our dedicated and inspirational teachers. Their care, professionalism, and unwavering belief in each child’s gifts remind us that hope grows when we nurture it together.

I would like to thank our parent community for your thoughtful gifts and acknowledgment.

It is a privilege to teach your children.

Year Prep-2 Concert- 'When I Grow Up'

Our Prep to Year 2 students delighted families and friends with their concert “When I Grow Up” — an entertaining and magical performance filled with dancing, singing, and plenty of smiles! The children shone on stage, sharing their dreams for the future with confidence and joy.

A heartfelt thank you to Miss Rawlins for her creativity and dedication in bringing the performance to life, to our staff for their support and encouragement, and to our parents for their help and enthusiasm. It was a true community celebration!

2026 Prep Transition

Miss King and Mrs Kelly have had a wonderful time getting to know our Prep students for next year during our Transition Program.

Some of our current parents volunteered to serve hot drinks and engage with new parents while their children attended the transition sessions. This is a wonderful example of our inclusive and welcoming community.

Thank you for choosing Holy Family to educate and care for your child over the next 7 years.

Discovery Tours

Please invite your family, friends and neighbours to go to our website and book a Discovery Tour with me and our Student Leaders.

It is your 'Word of Mouth' that piques interest in others to visit and join Holy Family School.

Soft Plastics Recycling Pick Up

Thank you to all those families who have already volunteered this year to pick up our soft plastics recycling from school and drop off at the Monash Recycling Depot.

Please see below the roster for Term 4.
