What’s going on in 2I?

In 2I we learnt how to find fractions when working with capacity.

We used our prior knowledge of halves and quarters to help us develop our knowledge of capacity. 

We learnt that  you must compare containers with the same capacity. We reminded ourselves what a ‘full’ container is. This was essential to our method of finding half and a quarter of the container capacity. 

We then went and found half and a quarter of the container's capacity by pouring from one full container to another of the same capacity.
