NSWCPS Team Josh, Dexter, Stella and Felix

We have had an exciting day today, with the Relay Team and Dexter competing in the the Polding Athletics Carnival. As a school we were able to watch on the live stream both races and the energy in the room was crazy! The staff and students were so proud of their peers and how well they ran. A huge congratulations to Joshua Anderson, Dexter Urquhart, Stella Mason and Felix Urquhart. For winning the Smalls Schools Relay.

A big Thank you to Luke Urquhart for taking the students out to training and developing them as a team. Also a big congratulations to Dexter Urquhart who came 13th overall in the boys 100m Final. PSSA on 23rd of October.

On Wednesday the 4th of September we had a whole school PE afternoon to celebrate the closing Ceremony of the St Joseph's Mini Olympics. The afternoon was filled with fun and festivities including a torch relay and parade of the countries. The students appeared to enjoy the Olympics and it seemed to be a disappointment that we only get to do it again in 4 years.

In PE for the rest of the term we have been focusing on our Dancing for the musical. Dance is in the curriculum of PE and it has been a great opportunity to complete these learning outcomes whilst having the opportunity to display their skills. So strap in and don't forget to get your tickets for the musical!

Life is a musical!
