LPS Athletics Carnival 

Year 3 to 6 students wore their house colours with pride as they headed off to Ballam Park for our 2024 school Athletics Carnival. Students had a great day putting their skills to the test in 8 different athletic events. Students gave it their all in the 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Discus and Shot Put events. We were lucky to have EMC students help on the day and had many parent spectators to cheer everyone on. Thanks to everyone for making the day so enjoyable!

District Cross Country

Congratulations to the 72 students who represented LPS at the 2024 Murdoch District Cross Country on the 14th of May. The event took place at Hastings Foreshore Reverse. Each student ran their heart out on a tough course. The following students, Emelie K, Billie N, Summer F, Tayla T, Jett W, Grace B, Blake A, Sienna F and Delilah D are off to Northern Peninsula Division on the 29th of May to represent LPS. We wish them all the best!

Year 6 Winter Lightning Premiership 

Over the past few weeks students in Year 6 have been busy training in preparation for their upcoming Lightning Premiership round robin competition. Training has been in full swing with students working on their skills, teamwork, and camaraderie. Students have a few more weeks of training left before heading out to represent LPS on Tuesday 18th June.
