“Faith is like a bright ray of sun light. It enables us to see God in all things, as well as all things in God.”
Faith is the theological virtue by which we believe in God and believe all that He has said and revealed to us, and that which the Holy Church proposes for our belief, because He is truth itself. The gift of faith lights up our path to God, The Spiritual Realm documents MCHF student's actions of faith and good works, capturing a glimpse into the Spirituality of the college.
On Thursday, October 17, 2024, selected Year 8 and Year 9 students, alongside with Sr Juliette and Mr Abboud, attended the “Lifted GO” Conference, a significant event marking the launch of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference’s Social Justice Statement 2024-2025: “Truth and Peace: A Gospel Word in a Violent World” for schools in the Diocese of Parramatta.

During the conference, students engaged in meaningful prayer, listened to inspiring talks and life testimonies, and participated in thought-provoking discussions and activities. The day fostered a spirit of reflection and action, empowering students to become advocates for positive change in their communities.
Maribelle Abdulahad Year 8 -
My experience at the 'Lifted GO Conference' was truly an adventure and it really helped me to socialise with a variety of other people from many different schools. I loved how everything was centred around praising Jesus Christ. This made me appreciate the fact that we can worship Christ while still enjoying ourselves to our full potential with our friends. This experience taught me to build relationships and to engage with one another in the theme of Christ. To sum it up, it was such a fantastic experience, I created many friendships and no question, I would go again!!

Year 8 students gathered in prayer and reflection at the College chapel, contemplating on the significance of the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation.

During their break, students came together to pray for peace in Lebanon, seeking the Lord’s protection for their Homeland.

Our Year 1 and Year 2 students received their first Bibles and were so excited to explore them! They were amazed by the stories inside and eager to learn more about God’s love. This was a special moment apart of their faith journey! May they continue to discover the beauty of the faith through God's word.

These selfless year 10 students sacrificed their Saturday to feed the homeless. They answered the call of Christ to minister to the poor, following his commands.

October is the month of the Rosary. Each day of October, 2 Jade prayed a decade of the Rosary, offering intentions for peace in Lebanon, for students undergoing their HSC exams and asking God to help us grow in empathy and compassion.
