Student Leaders

Over the next few editions of the newsletter, we will be introducing our 2026 Student Leaders. In this edition you will meet our School Leaders and House Leaders.
School Leaders: Oscar, Kealyn, Alice and Nelson V
Hello ARPS!
We are your 2026 school leaders, and we are super excited to begin this year with all of you. Being a school leader means different things to each of us, but for all of us, it’s about supporting our peers, setting a good example, and helping everyone feel included and valued.
To us, being a leader means cheering people on, being a team player, and helping others reach their highest potential at their own pace. It means taking care of each other, making sure everyone stays on the right path, and helping those who need support so they can do their best. Leadership is about responsibility, fairness, and being a positive role model for the younger students.
This year, our goals are to create an incredible year for all of you. We want to make lasting memories, whether it’s through special events, conventions, or fun activities at school. We hope to inspire teamwork, house pride, and a strong sense of community, while making sure every student feels included and supported. We also aim to encourage everyone to try their best, show good sportsmanship, and enjoy every moment at ARPS.
We are looking forward to leading with pride, bringing energy and enthusiasm to our house events, and helping to make 2026 an exciting, positive, and memorable year for everyone. We can’t wait to work together, share ideas, and make this our best year yet!
Blue Ox Leaders: Rebecca and Chloe
We are excited to be your 2026 Blue House Leaders. We enjoy this role because we love cheering on our team, whether it’s during sporting events or in the learning spaces.
As Blue House Leaders, we aim to include all students by listening to their ideas and motivating everyone to feel proud of their house colour. We hope to make Blue House the best it can be by encouraging teamwork, positive sportsmanship, and fair participation in all house events. We want every Blue House member to feel included and supported.
We are looking forward to being your 2026 Blue House Leaders and making this year exciting, positive, and fun for all students.
Red Dragon Leaders: Cindy and Kevin
We are excited to be your 2026 Red House Leaders. This role means a lot to us, as we have looked up to Red House Leaders since 2022 when we were in Year 2.
This year, we promise to help build strong community spirit within our house. We will motivate our team by bringing positive energy, showing enthusiasm, and encouraging everyone to get involved. We want to make sure all students feel included and supported, no matter what year level they are in.
We are looking forward to working together, showing great sportsmanship, and leading our house with pride. We can’t wait to lead Red House to success this year!
Green Snake Leaders: Sandyson and Trum
We are excited to be the 2026 Green House Leaders. We applied for this role because we both want to lead Green House and help make it a fun and supportive team. A strong team starts with our chant, it is the heart of our house, showing pride, energy, and team spirit. Singing it together celebrates our victories and brings everyone together.
As Green House Leaders, we will include everyone by helping out, playing games, and encouraging teamwork. We will make sure anyone who feels left out is supported and included. We will always show kindness, respect, and support to every member of our house.
We will also show sportsmanship by including everyone in activities and helping new students join in. By encouraging teamwork and fair play, we hope to make Green House a welcoming and proud team for all.
Yellow Tiger Leaders: Millie and Hawa
We are very excited to be your Yellow House Leaders this year. As Yellow House Leaders, our role is to cheer everyone on, show house pride, and lead our team by example. We will proudly support our house by singing our chant, encouraging participation, and helping create a positive team spirit. Our responsibilities also include helping to organise fun events such as Sports Day, special assemblies, and assisting with counting house points.
During house events, we will encourage everyone to join in, try their best, and support one another. We believe house points are not just about winning prizes, but about feeling proud of your effort and teamwork.
We are really looking forward to leading all Yellow House students with pride and making this a fantastic year together.
