Winners of various events at our House Swimming Carnival last Friday were offered the opportunity to represent Chelt.Sec at the Beachside Swimming Championships. Although our group was small, on Tuesday this week, they certainly put in an almighty effort throughout the day's proceedings. Not only did they give their best efforts in the pool, but the boys also assisted carnival officials, showing great community spirit. Well done to our competitors: Patrick, Riley, Leon, Ethan, Julian, Jack and Harrison. Congratulations to Riley, who was awarded the 14 Boys (age group) Champion. Riley will compete in the Southern Metropolitan finals later in March.

Each term, we are on the lookout for Chelt.Sec Flyers, students and staff who are putting their best foot forward in their sporting endeavours. We welcome any details or photos that highlight our students and their achievements. Please send these to har@cheltsec.vic.edu.au
We have had some terrific numbers in our basketball sessions on Monday after school. Our Year 7 students have opted for the 'Training Only' sessions, which gives them the option to upgrade to develop an Academy Team. Students in the program should begin to consider if they would like to make the transition and commitment to playing within a team. The team would be registered in the McKinnon Basketball Association Winter Season. The Winter 2025 Junior Competition comprises 14 rounds, playing on Saturday afternoons, commencing May 3rd 2025. Team registration closes April 10th 2025. Please contact Karly Hargreaves for further details.
