Senior Report

This fortnight in the Senior Room we have been busy with Grandparents and Special Friends Day, to attending a Young Leaders Day in Melbourne and then venturing back to Melbourne on Monday the 30th of March for an excursion to Quantum Victoria. We have had a big fortnight.

National Young Leaders Day in Melbourne

The Junior School Council, comprised of Em, Amaya, Marley and Layla attended a National Young Leaders Day at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre accompanied by Mrs Punton and Mr Lehane. All students agreed that it was an excellent day - even the squishy train ride home was fun. The students were fortunate to hear from celebrities, actors, entrepreneurs and authors on all of the qualities it takes to be a great leader as well as all of the obstacles they may face throughout the process. The best part - we got to meet Moana!

Quantum Victoria in Melbourne

Our excursion to Quantum Victoria was amazing! It was such a hands on day for both the Junior and Senior students. The Juniors learnt about our senses; seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching. Whilst the Seniors learnt about circuits and charges and also got to make play-dough. They then turned the play-dough into a keyboard and played Mario!
